NEW Sunday LEARN to PLAY HOCKEY - FOUNDATIONS:

The Foundations Learn to Play Program runs Sundays 9:15-10:15am, sharing the ice with the Learn to Skate group.

For beginner hockey players and house league players who can stand and glide on their own. Perfect for those transitioning from Learn to Skate and ready to start learning the basics of hockey.

This entry-level class is where new players begin their hockey journey. Designed for skaters who are ready to take their first steps into gameplay, Foundations focuses on building confidence with the puck, understanding basic hockey skills, and introducing team concepts in a fun, supportive environment. Players will practice essential skills like stopping, turning, puck control, and passing. Shared ice with Learn to Skate provides a familiar setting for those just making the leap.

NEW Sunday LEARN to PLAY HOCKEY - ADVANCED & LTP ELITE SKILLS for Young Players:

The Advanced & Elite Skills Learn to Play Program runs Sundays from 9:30–10:30am, with both groups sharing the ice.
Players will be divided into two groups based on skill and experience (Advanced and Elite Skills).

This Learn to Play Program is for players who have completed LTP Foundations or have at least one year of Learn to Play experience. This group is also ideal for players currently enrolled in a hockey league, advanced hockey program, KLEVR, or those preparing to enter one.

Sessions focus on speed with the puck, lateral movement, advanced stickhandling, passing, shooting, puck protection, and elevated hockey awareness. With a faster pace and more challenging drills, this class helps sharpen in-game skills and build confidence for real game situations.

LTP ADVANCED is best suited for:

Birth Years: 2021, 2020
Designed for players with a minimum of one year in Learn to Play who are entering or currently playing in a house league or advanced hockey program. This group builds confidence and consistency in foundational gameplay, focusing on puck control, passing, shooting, and hockey development at a faster pace.

LTP ELITE SKILLS for Young Players is best suited for:

Birth Years: 2020, 2019, 2018
For experienced players competing at a high level—whether in advanced development programs, KLEVR League, or similar. This group offers fast-paced, high-rep training that focuses on elite-level puck handling, decision-making, and positional awareness. Ideal for players looking for supplemental training to take their skills to the next level.

Prerequisite LEARN to PLAY HOCKEY - ADVANCED/ELITE is our LEARN to PLAY HOCKEY - FOUNDATIONS, or players who come with 1 year min Learn to Play Hockey experience, or League/KLEVR. If your player has 3+ years of hockey & skating experience, our 5pm - 7pm Weekday classes would be more suitable.
