Winter 2024/2025 CLASSES
Fierce Hockey has been proudly teaching hockey in Toronto for 19 years! Our inclusive and supportive environment welcomes players of all genders and skill levels, from ages 2 to adults. All classes are held at THE RINX, and our experienced, attentive coaches are dedicated to helping every player reach their full potential. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, we have a class for you.
Select your age group & skill level to explore our available classes below:
- LEARN TO SKATE - View Classes & Programs - For non-skaters & beginner skaters. Skaters have had no previous skating lessons, and have not skated unassisted.
Ages: minimum 2 years, maximum 7 years
Birth Year: 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018.
- LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY - View Classes & Programs - For beginner hockey players & house league players who can stand and glide in hockey skates on their own.
Ages: 3 years - 8 years
Birth Year: 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017.
- REP/CDS - View Class Options - For more experienced young players.
Ages: 5 years - 8 years
Birth Year: 2018, 2017, 2016
- HOUSE LEAGUE PLAYERS - View Class Options - For older House League players
Ages: 7 years - 14 years
Birth Year: 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012.
- KLEVR LEAGUE Players - View Class Options - For players who play in the KLEVR league. Fierce has no association with KLEVR League. These classes are available for KLEVR Players who want additional classes.
Ages: 5 years - 8 years
Birth Year: 2018, 2017 & 2016.
Ages: 9 years - 12 years
Birth Year: 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012.
Ages: 11 years - 14 years
Birth Year: 2013, 2012, 2011. 2010, 2009
- U18 - View Class Options - *no house league players.
Birth Year: 2011 - 2006
All levels, Adults & players age +16 OR +13 accompanied by a parent on the ice.
Levels:
- REP: A competitive team requiring tryouts, more competitive than House League. Includes CDS, Select, OWHA (all levels), DS, and GTHL (all levels).
- CDS (Competitive Development Stream): Common in boys' REP programs. Requires a successful tryout, player also plays in House League.
- OWHA (Ontario Women’s Hockey Association): Levels include AA (highest), A, BB, and B. Development Stream teams play in House League, plus a tournament team that holds tryouts.
- KLEVR: AAA/AA rogue league where players do not play in House League and compete on full ice. For 2024/2025, this applies to players born in 2018, 2017, and 2016.
- GTHL (Greater Toronto Hockey League): The competitive league in Toronto for players born in 2015 and older.
- SELECT: For players in House League born in 2015 and older who want to play on a competitive team. In girls' hockey, this is known as DS (Development Stream) teams.
