League Overview:
This Spring League is powered by Fierce Hockey & Piranhas Hockey and is open to both current Piranhas players and players from all hockey organizations (2021, 2020, 2019). Teams will be balanced by skill and age to ensure fairness, development, and fun for all participants.

Our vision is to create a fun, fast-paced 4-on-4 full-ice league where young players (2021, 2020, 2019) can learn the flow of the game while building confidence and developing their skills in real game situations. Teams will be thoughtfully balanced based on skill level and development to create fairness, fun, and competitive play for all participants.

Players will be encouraged to try new things, take risks, and broaden their skill sets in a supportive environment. Fierce Hockey coaches will manage the bench, keep ice time equal, and motivate players to explore all areas of the game, while keeping the focus on learning and enjoyment. Let’s have fun!

Players register as individuals, and families may note friends they would like to be grouped with during registration. If dedicated goalies are not available, a goalie rotation will be used, allowing players to experience different positions in a low-pressure, development-first setting.

This league features no face-offs and no penalties. Any infractions will result in a penalty shot, keeping players moving and engaged. Safety remains a top priority, any player displaying dangerous behaviour may be removed from a game and, if necessary, from the league.

All coaching will be led by Fierce Hockey staff, and parents will not be on the bench, allowing players to stay focused, independent, and immersed in the game.
