SUMMER 2026 - July 13-17 DEFENCE CAMP - Select, CDS, GTHL A, AA, AAA (2017-2013)

Camp Description:

4hrs on-ice training + 1.5hrs shooting & stickhandling skills & off-ice training.

This camp is built for players who want to dominate the defensive side of the game with confidence, efficiency, and hockey IQ.

Defensive Skating Mechanics: backward mobility, transitions, pivots, and edge control
Angling & Body Contact: taking away space, sealing lanes, safe & effective contact
Gap Control & Containment: reading speed, closing properly, and eliminating threats
Puck Pressure & Body Positioning: winning inside position and controlling the battle
Breakout Execution: scanning, puck retrievals, wall play, and first-pass accuracy
Point Play & Offensive Activation: blue-line movement, walking the line, shooting through traffic, and creating lanes.

Players will also complete 1.5 hours of off-ice work each day focused on agility, footwork, puck handling, and shooting mechanics. Please note: This camp joins Bubble/Laser Tag on Friday only.

Schedule for (4 hour on-ice) Camp:
9am-1pm - ON-ICE 4hrs (3 Breaks @ 10am, 11am, 12pm)
1pm-2pm - LUNCH (Half Day Pick-up 1pm)
2pm-3:30pm - OFF-ICE TRAINING 1.5hrs (shooting, stickhandling in off-ice room)
*Friday- 2:00-2:30pm Group games/Camp rewards/prizes, 2:30-3:30pm Bubble/Laser Tag

**Important - Before registering, make sure you understand the type of camp you’re signing up for:

• 4-Hour On-Ice Camp: Includes a more intensive on-ice training with additional off-ice development training.
  
• 3-Hour On-Ice Camp: Offers a balance of skill development and training with 3hrs on-ice, Bubble/Laser Tag.
  
• Important: If you're registering with friends or teammates, ensure everyone is signing up for the same camp type (either 3-hour on-ice or 4-hour on-ice). This way, teammates/friends all be on the same schedule for the week.
